THQ Nordic has shared a new trailer for the PS5 remake of Gothic it has in development at studio Innos, but there's no release date to speak of yet. Footage provides a tour of the Old Camp in the Valley of Mines, which is where you'll meet the locals and see some noteworthy landmarks. Check it out above, but nobody seems very friendly.
Based on the RPG from 2001 from Piranha Bytes (Risen, ELEX), the remake is being handled by Spanish studio Alkimia Interactive. When the project was announced all the way back in 2020, it was confirmed some gameplay mechanics would be modernised and it would all be done with a "high-quality look". What are your impressions of this new trailer? Post them in the comments below.

I read it had an initial release date for yesterday, which got scrapped, so to see it now, still with no release date is kind of sad.
It is interesting that the original dev isn't even contributing to this remake. Hopefully it pans out along the lines of the same context that Lords of the Fallen looks to be.
Is it just a graphical overhaul or will there be new content?
3 remake announcements per day zzzZzzZzzzz
I'm currently playing the PS4 version of Risen so this immediately grabbed me! Looking forward to it! 👍🏼 😸
